JRMC & Associés is seeking a Mechanical Engineer who is a native German or Swiss-German speaker for an Inside Sales Engineer role in Switzerland. The position blends technical know-how with sales responsibilities as you handle inquiries, design solutions, and prepare quotations while maintaining close customer relations.

You will work with warm leads provided by the sales team, selecting and detailing technical solutions that meet customer needs both technically and economically.

• Receive and review technical customer inquiries and propose initial solutions
• Select suitable solutions and design them technically, always keeping customer needs in mind
• Prepare well-thought-out, economically calculated quotations, precise and understandable
• Compile relevant quotation documents such as data sheets, drawings, and characteristic curves
• Coordinate closely with the sales force, sometimes in direct customer meetings
• Ensure good customer relations

For an active partner in the industry for nearly 80 years, we are looking for a mechanical engineer who is a native German or Swiss-German speaker, for a role halfway between technical and sales. The Inside Sales Engineer has the following responsibilities:

Key point about this role: no prospecting! The salespeople are there for that, and you receive warm leads. It’s then up to you to propose THE right technical solution that will make the customer happy, both technically AND economically.
