Business Manager / Recruitment Consultant - IT Headhunter

Sigma Suisse is looking for his client, an IT Business Partner based in Geneva :

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide support for trading applications and ensure business continuity of the trading platform.
  • Participate in the roadmap for trading applications; coordinate enhancements and lifecycle management.
  • Perform business analysis: gather requirements, draft functional specifications, and translate needs into technical deliverables.
  • Maintain and monitor interfaces/ETL between business systems; ensure data quality and consistency.
  • Develop and maintain trading reports and BI assets; define data models and reporting requirements.
  • Contribute to new developments and integrations, including test planning, execution, and sign-off.
  • Enforce software development standards and methodology across internal and vendor-delivered work.
  • Liaise with external suppliers and manage deliverables, SLAs, and documentation.
  • Partner with end users (middle office, trading, shipping, trade finance) to identify new needs and manage projects from initiation through deployment and hypercare.
  • Ensure comprehensive testing and documentation with internal teams and third parties.
Key Working Relationships
  • Internal: Business software users; IT Technical Team; Business Applications Team
  • External: Software and service suppliers
Experience & Education
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology (or equivalent).
  • 3–5 years’ experience in a similar role (application support/business systems/BI).
  • Strong Microsoft SQL Server background with advanced T-SQL.
  • Hands‑on ETL and Business Intelligence experience.
  • Proven project management and business analysis skills.
  • Experience in trading or banking environments (desired).
  • Knowledge of C#/.NET (a plus).
  • Diploma of Advanced Studies in Commodity Trading (a plus).
  • Fluent in French and English.
