Sécheron Hasler Group, with a long Swiss engineering heritage, seeks an experienced Industrialization Design Engineer to support product industrialization from development through serial production. You will collaborate across multiple sites to ensure manufacturability, reliability and documentation integrity on complex electrical safety products.

The role requires 5+ years in mechanical design/industrialization, strong CAD (SolidWorks) skills, and proficiency with ERP/PLM systems.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent discipline.
• Master’s degree in mechanical engineering, Industrial Engineering or Manufacturing Engineering is an advantage.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in mechanical design, industrialization or manufacturing engineering.
• Experience with Engineering Change Management and BOM management.
• Experience with ERP and PLM systems.
• Experience in a multicultural, multi-site industrial environment is advantageous.
• Excellent proficiency with 3D CAD software (SolidWorks preferred).
• Experience with Oracle ERP and PLM/PDM systems (Audros is an advantage).
• Strong knowledge of mechanical design, manufacturing processes, machining, sheet metal and assembly.
• Knowledge of DFM and DFA.
• Engineering Change Management and configuration management familiarity.
• ISO quality standards and industrial best practices familiarity.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work autonomously while collaborating cross-functionally.
• Strong organizational and prioritization skills.
• Clear and structured communication.
• Hands-on attitude to guide production on the shop floor.
• Ability to train and support production teams.

Responsabilidades

• Perform mechanical design and industrialization activities supporting products throughout their lifecycle.
• Support prototype manufacturing, industrial validation, production ramp-up and serial production.
• Provide hands-on technical support to production teams and participate in solving manufacturing issues.
• Propose robust, pragmatic and cost-effective technical solutions.
• Create, update and maintain mechanical drawings, BOMs and technical documentation using SolidWorks, PLM systems and Oracle ERP.
• Work efficiently with SolidWorks, PLM and Oracle ERP, selecting appropriate methodologies for industrialization.
• Manage Engineering Change Orders (ECO) and assess impact on manufacturing, inventory and deliveries.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Purchasing, Production and Quality to improve manufacturability and product reliability.
• Participate in NCR investigations and corrective actions.
• Apply DFM and DFA principles.
• Support production operators through technical guidance and problem solving.
• Contribute to product and process continuous improvement initiatives.
• Ensure accuracy, completeness and traceability of technical documentation.
• Share technical knowledge and support Industrialization teams worldwide.
