Job summary

Proxima Fusion is accelerating the industrialisation of magnet production, enabling the first commercial stellarator fusion plant. You will design, test and scale production processes, including welding, bonding, sealing and coating, collaborating with engineers and technicians across teams.

You will contribute to the development of automated manufacturing and quality controls, while working in a fast-paced, interdisciplinary environment that values experimentation and learning from mistakes.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in mechanical, mechatronics or similar engineering field.
• Extensive hands-on experience in production environments (welding, machining, assembly, bonding).
• Ability to design and implement new manufacturing processes from concept to production.

Responsibilities

• Define requirements for industrialised manufacturing equipment and processes.
• Contribute to in-process monitoring and non-destructive testing development.
• Collaborate with engineers across multiple teams to ensure product performance.
