Industrial Engineer: Lean Production & Workflow Optimisation

Zusammenfassung

EH Group is seeking an Industrial Engineer to optimise workflows, capacity and efficiency across our semi-automated production operations in Switzerland. You will analyse production layouts, conduct time studies and support capacity planning to improve throughput.

The role requires 4–5 years in manufacturing, a BSc/MSc in a relevant field, strong Lean knowledge, and fluent English and French, with German a plus.

Qualifikationen

• BSc or MSc in industrial, manufacturing, mechanical or systems engineering is mandatory.
• Minimum 4–5 years of industrial engineering experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of Lean, time-and-motion studies and capacity planning.
• Analytical and data-driven with strong Excel and data-analysis skills.
• Experience with ERP systems and factory layout tools.
• Team player able to work autonomously with internal and external experts.
• Excellent spoken and written English and French; German is a plus.

Aufgaben

• Analyse and optimise production workflows, layouts and material flow.
• Perform time studies, prepare Gantt charts, capacity planning and line balancing.
• Define labour standards, staffing models and productivity metrics.
• Lead Lean/continuous-improvement initiatives (ex. Kaizen, 5S, VSM).
• Support factory layout, ergonomics and workstation design.
• Develop KPIs and dashboards to monitor efficiency and cost.
• Collaborate with manufacturing, quality and planning teams.
