Hitachi Energy in Switzerland is seeking a Production Engineer to drive efficiency, quality, and throughput in our insulation & components production. You will lead projects, commission new processes, and train teams to sustain improvements in a high-voltage environment.

Qualified candidates will hold an ETH/FH degree in production sciences or related fields, with automation/technical documentation experience and strong German and English skills for our international team.

Qualifikationen

• Technical degree (ETH/FH) in production sciences or related field.
• Experience in mechanization and automation of production processes; high-voltage know-how is a plus.
• Experience in technical documentation and work planning.
• Strong knowledge of quality methods (8D, Ishikawa) and problem-solving techniques.
• Very good German (spoken/written) and English (C1) for international environment.
• Strong communication and leadership skills to motivate teams.

Aufgaben

• Ensure maximum plant availability with maintenance and suppliers.
• Lead projects to optimize throughput and reduce costs.
• Conduct pilot studies to define parameters and drive improvements.
• Commission new processes and equipment; train maintenance and production teams.
• Evaluate new technologies to improve quality and productivity.
• Investigate deviations and implement corrective actions.
• Contribute to production digitalization and automation.
• Lead industrialization projects from planning to implementation.
