This embedded role blends discovery and development with high-impact scientific leadership.

As an Industrial Postdoc in Global Discovery Chemistry, you will design innovative technology platforms, run enzyme campaigns, and develop scalable biocatalytic solutions.

Qualifications

• PhD at the interface of Chemistry and Biology with a focus on biocatalysis or related field.
• Hands-on experience in peptide- or protein-modifying enzymatic transformations is preferred.
• Strong track record of original research and biotech innovation.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop technology platforms in biocatalysis and protein engineering within the Genesis program.
• Lead enzyme discovery and engineering campaigns using computational tools and high-throughput screening.
• Develop scalable biocatalytic solutions for pharmaceutical synthesis across modalities.
• Collaborate with experts across Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, Bioinformatics, Process Chemistry, and Chemical Engineering.
• Communicate findings internally, contribute to patents, and engage with external partners.
