ETH Zurich's Biotechnology and Bioengineering group at D-BSSE in Basel invites exceptional candidates to apply for a postdoctoral position aimed at developing synthetic biology-inspired human therapies. Qualifications

• Strong skills in molecular and cell biology techniques
• Experience with cultivation/engineering of primary human cells and mammalian cell lines
• FELASA/LTK or equivalent course is an asset

Responsibilities

• Combine molecular engineering, cell programming, and chemical-biological interfacing to engineer human cells using synthetic gene circuits and biosensing platforms
• Develop novel biosensing systems for real-time monitoring of cellular states
• Translate research advances into programmable cellular implant prototypes and collaborate with clinical researchers
