Job summary

Jobgether is seeking an autonomous AI Engineer in Switzerland to design and deploy production-grade AI systems for industrial operations. You will handle agentic AI, multimodal pipelines, and integration with ERP/CMMS/WMS and PLC systems, working from sensor data to dashboards.

The role emphasizes ownership, scalability, and low-latency performance in a zero-to-one product environment, with opportunities to shape the future of industrial intelligence.

Qualifications

• 3+ years building production AI systems; 5+ years preferred.
• Experience delivering agentic AI products and production systems.
• Early-stage startup experience contributing from zero to one.
• Strong background in AI/ML for physical-world systems.
• Experience with large-scale industrial data (video, sensors, telemetry).
• Hands-on experience building multimodal AI pipelines (CV + structured data).
• Knowledge of data ingestion, normalization, and ground-truth challenges in real environments.
• Experience with ontologies, knowledge graphs, or context systems.
• Experience integrating AI with ERP/CMMS/WMS/historians/PLC systems.
• Strong software engineering in Python and TypeScript.
• Production-oriented tech: FastAPI, PostgreSQL, React Native, OpenCV.
• Understanding of reliability, latency, cost, and human interaction.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and ship core AI capabilities of an industrial intelligence platform.
• Develop agentic AI systems including orchestration, tool use, and human-in-the-loop workflows.
• Build runtimes and orchestration for agents (vision quality, maintenance, operations planning).
• Design context assembly systems with ontologies and memory, including tracing and cost controls.
• Develop multimodal data pipelines combining video, CV, and structured data.
• Implement CV capabilities (object detection, segmentation, action recognition) with YOLO/OpenCV.
• Process industrial sensor data (RTSP video, time-series telemetry, PLC data).
• Create signal-processing workflows with FFT features and cross-sensor analysis.
• Design knowledge graphs for plants, assets, sensors, work orders, histories.
• Develop memory systems for trace storage, playbooks, templates, failure libraries.
• Build dashboards, alerting workflows, replanning tools, audit trails.
• Create connectors for ERP/CMMS/WMS/historians/PLC systems.
