The Role

This is a results‑driven role for someone who can advance incident response and vulnerability management outcomes while serving as a bridge between technical teams and the business translating complex security information into clear, actionable language that stakeholders can act on

You will own the coordination of incident response and vulnerability management across the unit. On the incident side, that means maintaining a current and effective response plan, coordinating activities when incidents occur, and ensuring the right people have the right information at the right time. On the vulnerability side, the focus is equally important: helping internal teams understand what vulnerabilities exist, which ones matter, and what the remediation path looks like. This requires close, ongoing communication with product teams, engineering, and stakeholders so vulnerabilities are understood, prioritized, and addressed by the people responsible for fixing them

This is not a role for someone who prefers to work in isolation. You will be the connective tissue between technical teams and the business side of SI B, ensuring both sides have what they need to move forward

What you'll be doing
  • Incident management: Own and maintain the incident response plan. Keep it current, update when needed, and ensure it functions effectively when activated
  • Coordination: Serve as the primary point of contact during incidents and for ongoing vulnerability management activities. Ensure the right stakeholders are engaged and informed throughout
  • Communication: This is a central part of the role. During incidents, keep internal stakeholders informed and aligned. For vulnerabilities, maintain ongoing communication with product and engineering teams across SI B helping them understand what has been identified, what the risk profile looks like, and what remediation involves. Act as the bridge, not a bottleneck
  • Reporting: Produce clear, actionable reports on incidents and vulnerability posture for internal stakeholders. Focus on insight that supports decision‑making, not raw data
  • Process improvement: Lead the lessons‑learned process after incidents and integrate findings into protocols, training, and playbooks so each iteration improves on the last
  • Training and awareness: Work with teams to develop and deliver training that helps people across SI B understand their role in security incidents and vulnerability handling
Your Profile
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Cybersecurity, or a related field
  • Professional certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CEH, or GCIH are a plus
  • 5-10 years of experience in incident response and vulnerability management roles
  • Hands‑on experience with incident management platforms and vulnerability scanning tools
  • Strong problem‑solving skills with the ability to coordinate effectively across teams and functions
  • A genuine focus on enabling the business to move forward, not just enforcing policy
  • Fluent English, with the ability to explain complex security topics to non‑technical audiences
  • German or additional languages are a plus
Employee Benefits
  • 2-3 days per week of mobile working is standard
  • Mobility allowance
  • Varied further training opportunities
  • Access to employee share programs
