Job summary

Siemens AG in Switzerland seeks a creative working student for our Academy Business & Portfolio Management team within Buildings Academy. You will develop internal content and manage digital channels to support an international network.

Responsibilities include creating posts and newsletters, maintaining intranets and SharePoint sites, and fostering community engagement across teams. You will gain hands-on experience with AI-enabled tools and modern collaboration platforms while working 40-60%

Qualifications

• Enrolled at a Swiss university or applied sciences, ideally in communication, media or marketing.
• Strong interest in internal communication, digital content and community management.
• Excellent writing and ability to present information concisely for different audiences.
• Interest in digital collaboration tools; initial experience with SharePoint or similar is a plus.
• Good language sense and visual presentation; independent and well-organised work style.
• Proactive, curious and able to contribute ideas; fluent in English; German is a plus.

For our newly established Academy Business & Portfolio Management team within the Buildings Academy, we are looking for a creative and motivated working student with a passion for communication, digital content and community building.

In this role, you will help shape how colleagues connect, collaborate and share knowledge across our international Academy network. You will gain hands‑on experience in internal communication, digital platform management and modern collaboration technologies, including AI-supported tools and processes.

Your New Responsibilities

• Create and manage engaging content for internal communication channels, including posts, announcements, presentations and newsletters
• Maintain and continuously improve internal websites and collaboration platforms, ensuring that information is current, well structured and easy to find
• Support the development of an active internal community through engagement activities and knowledge-sharing formats
• Collaborate with stakeholders across international teams to collect, structure and communicate relevant information
• Contribute your own ideas to improve communication processes, digital experiences and community engagement within the Buildings Academy

Your Talents And Experience

• You are currently enrolled at a Swiss university or university of applied sciences, ideally in communication, corporate communication, media studies, marketing, journalism or a related field
• You have a strong interest in internal communication, digital content and community management
• You enjoy writing and can present information in a clear, concise and audience-oriented way
• You have an interest in digital communication and collaboration tools; initial experience with Microsoft 365, SharePoint or similar platforms is an advantage
• You have a good eye for language, structure and visual presentation
• You work independently, reliably and in a well‑organised manner while enjoying collaboration with colleagues and stakeholders
• You are proactive, curious and keen to contribute your own ideas
• You have very good written and spoken English skills; good German skills are an advantage
• You are available for a workload of 40-60%
