Job summary

Novartis AG is seeking a Research Scientist for the preclinical Radioligand Therapy team. You will develop and characterize in vivo oncology models, evaluate novel radioligand therapies, and generate insights for our Oncology portfolio.

You will collaborate across global teams, applying rodent handling, pharmacology, bioanalysis, and imaging to translate science into potential therapies. The role requires experience with imaging (PET/SPECT/CT), cell culture, and molecular biology techniques,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in a related field.
• Experience with in vivo oncology models and rodent handling.
• Practical in vivo experience in biomedical research.
• Training with open radioactive sources.
• Strong English communication of scientific findings.

Responsibilities

• Develop and characterize in vivo oncology models for preclinical radioligand therapy.
• Conduct efficacy studies of radioligand therapies across programs.
• Perform biodistribution and metabolite analyses to inform pharmacology.
• Conduct small-animal PET/SPECT/CT imaging studies.
• Support in vitro and ex vivo activities (cell culture, flow cytometry, IHC, etc.).
