mylife Diabetes Care is seeking an Embedded Software Engineer to design and maintain software for low-power insulin pump devices. You will work across software, hardware, testing and requirements teams to build reliable, compliant solutions that improve lives.

Responsibilities include embedded design, documentation, unit testing in C++, code reviews, tech selection, and contributions to development practices. Fluency in English is required; German is a plus.

Qualificações

• Experience developing embedded software in an agile team (Scrum).
• Confident with C, software design, unit testing and version control.
• Understanding of software development in a regulated environment; medical devices or safety-critical fields are an advantage.
• Maintainable software design with clear separation of concerns.
• Practical experience with bare-metal software for low-power devices and interest in RTOS-based systems.
• Strong commitment to quality and pragmatic problem solving.
• Open communication and responsibility within a team.
• Motivation to contribute to diabetes-focused products.
• Fluent English; German is an advantage.
• Experience with STM32, C++, Git, UML, testing frameworks, build systems, CI/CD, Python or DOORS Next is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Design, implement and maintain embedded software based on requirements and architecture.
• Document software designs and implementation decisions.
• Develop and maintain software units and components in MISRA C per IEC 62304.
• Create and maintain test cases in C++ using an established testing framework.
• Review colleagues' work and provide constructive feedback.
• Help select technologies, frameworks and tools that support modular software.
• Collaborate with hardware, testing and requirements engineering teams to verify solutions.
• Contribute to improvements in development practices, tools and processes.
• Participate in innovation activities across relevant fields.
