Amazon's RIVR division is building Physical AI by deploying autonomous robots for real-world doorstep delivery in Zürich. As an expert in imitation learning and generative AI, you will enable robots to autonomously generate actions from demonstrations and sensor data, integrating language commands within real-world tasks.

You will lead a team of software engineers, design datasets, collaborate with the RL team, and deploy production-grade code on hardware to advance intelligent robotics.

Qualifikationen

• Master's degree or higher in a relevant field.
• 5+ years in industry or research; PhD applicable.
• Strong DL fundamentals including supervised and self-supervised learning.
• Experience deploying neural networks on hardware.
• Production-level C++ coding proficiency.

Aufgaben

• Develop imitation learning algorithms to enable autonomous robot actions from demonstrations and sensor data.
• Design, test, and refine algorithms for real-world autonomy and manipulation tasks.
• Construct datasets using human demonstrations or automated expert algorithms.
• Expand the imitation learning dataset efficiently with new tasks.
• Collaborate with the reinforcement learning team to leverage simulated and real-world data.
• Deliver deployment-ready code optimized for the robot's hardware constraints.
• Lead and mentor a software engineering team.
• Provide guidance to product managers and executives for strategic decisions.
• Create and maintain documentation and best practices.
