You will work closely with Finance and IT stakeholders across the business, ensuring efficient processes and ongoing IFS platform optimisation. Fluent German and English are required.

IT Works Recruitment Europe is currently supporting a leading organisation in the recruitment of an experienced IFS Finance Controller to join their team in Basel.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced finance professional with strong IFS knowledge to take ownership of financial processes, reporting and controlling activities within a modern ERP environment. You will work closely with Finance, IT and wider business stakeholders to ensure efficient processes and continued optimisation of the IFS platform.

Key responsibilities:

• Manage and optimise finance and controlling processes within IFS
• Support month-end and year-end closing activities
• Deliver financial reporting, analysis and management information
• Support budgeting, forecasting and cost-control processes
• Work closely with Finance and IT teams on IFS improvements
• Gather requirements and support testing, upgrades and enhancements
• Provide guidance and support to business users

Requirements:

• Strong experience with IFS Finance
• Professional background in finance, accounting or controlling
• Good understanding of ERP financial processes
• Fluent German and English
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and stakeholder-management abilities
