Job summary

QA Ltd seeks an SRE Engineer in Mendrisio, Switzerland, to design and maintain elastic, highly available infrastructure. You will work with Azure and AWS stacks, emphasizing automation and IaC, with a weekly on-call rotation and Swiss HQ location.

You will collaborate with engineers to deliver scalable, secure systems while leveraging Terraform, CloudFormation, and Git. English proficiency is essential for global collaboration.

Qualifications

• Advanced expertise in Azure to support AI architecture and data infrastructure.
• Observability on Azure infrastructure including log management, alerting, and monitoring.
• Experience managing AWS infrastructure for day-to-day operations.
• Infrastructure as code using Terraform; CloudFormation is a bonus.
• Familiar with cloud architecture patterns for highly available, scalable systems.
• Proficient in Python, Node.js, Go, or Bash scripting.
• Databases: PostgreSQL, Redis, MySQL; Git for version control.
• Experience with on-call processes using PagerDuty or similar tools.
• High level of English proficiency; able to work independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Define and implement infrastructure to be elastic and highly available.
• Collaborate with engineers to build and maintain production infrastructure.
• Contribute to automation using IaC technologies and automation tooling.
• Participate in the team's on-call rotation and respond to incidents.
