ABB Switzerland in Quartino is seeking a Production Engineering Manager to optimize assembly methods, processes, and equipment to minimize labor hours while aligning with quality, efficiency, costs, and safety.

The role is hybrid and contributes to the Power Protection department. You will drive improvement projects, manage process designs, support production start-up, and evaluate new technologies to boost productivity and cost efficiency.

Qualifikationen

• Degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering.
• 3–5 years of experience in operations and production line activities.
• Fluent in English.

Aufgaben

• Drive Improvement Projects – identify opportunities, implement projects, ensure quality, time, and cost targets.
• Process & Product Management – provide work instructions, approve process designs, and manage testing.
• Production Support – assist during start-up, define action plans, train teams.
• Technology Evaluation – assess new process technologies to boost productivity, quality, and cost efficiency.
