CERN, the European Organization for Nuclear Research, is seeking a Planning and Scheduling Engineer within EN-ACE to coordinate installation and maintenance across the accelerator complex. The role focuses on developing practical scheduling solutions and ensuring safety, quality, and stakeholder alignment throughout project lifecycles.

Qualifikationen

• Master's degree or PhD in Engineering, Applied Physics or related field.
• PMI PMP certification would be an additional asset.
• Proven experience managing large-scale technical projects.
• Experience scheduling and coordinating activities for large-scale projects with safety considerations.
• Experience engaging stakeholders and achieving consensus on objectives.
• Extensive experience with multiple project planning tools and cross-tool communication.

Aufgaben

• Coordinate installation and maintenance activities for existing or future accelerators.
• Produce baseline schedules ensuring activities follow them, with safety and quality standards.
• Prepare supporting documentation and liaise between stakeholders.
• Identify and resolve co-activity conflicts with stakeholders and project leaders.
• Manage the impact of operational issues on the schedule to minimise delays.
• Ensure safety concerns related to installation works are identified and procedures implemented.
• Follow up and report on activity progress to anticipate co-activities issues.
