In this hybrid role you will handle payroll and social security, HR administration, recruitment, employee lifecycle support, and employment-law guidance, acting as the reliable point of contact

Qualifikationen

• Formal HR education and professional experience required.
• Payroll experience including social security and year-end closing preferred.
• Solid knowledge of Swiss Employment and Social Security Law.
• Swiss HR environment experience is a plus.

We are looking for an independent, structured and service-oriented professional to join us as HR Generalist, this is a hybrid position located in Unterägeri (Zug).

In this diverse role, you will be responsible for the operational and administrative HR processes of our Swiss company. Together with our managers, you will support the entire employee lifecycle – from onboarding to offboarding – and act as a competent point of contact for employees and managers on all HR-related matters.

Your varied responsibilities will include payroll processing, including social security contributions and year-end closing, HR administration, recruitment, as well as providing support on employment law and personnel-related matters.

You will also be responsible for internal HR communication, organise employee events and contribute to the continuous improvement of our HR processes. In addition, you will be responsible for the support and coordination of our commercial apprentices.

As part of our wider international HR team, you will work closely with HR EMEA, support cross-functional projects and contribute to the continuous development of our HR practices.

What you bring:

• Commercial/business administration education
• Further education as an HR Specialist with a Swiss Federal Diploma of Professional Education and Training
• At least 5 years of professional experience in a comparable role
• Experience in payroll, including social security and year-end closing; knowledge of Abacus is an advantage
• Good knowledge of Swiss Employment and Social Security Law
• Fluency in written and spoken German (C1)
• Good written and spoken English skills for collaboration with HR EMEA and participation in international HR projects
• Experience in an industrial environment is an advantage
• You work independently, in a structured and proactive manner, and enjoy taking responsibility
• You communicate openly and respectfully and are a reliable point of contact for employees and managers
• You think beyond your own area of responsibility, understand the bigger picture and approach topics in a pragmatic and solution-oriented way
• You enjoy a varied HR generalist role combining operational and coordinating responsibilities.
