Job summary

Stein AG in Stein, Switzerland seeks a motivated lab technician (HPLC specialist) for a temporary contract. You will independently deliver analytical service projects using HPLC and other techniques, including method development, analysis and reporting to stakeholders within the business.

The role requires hands-on HPLC method development and validation, operation of modern UPLC equipment, and data scripting in R or Python, with clear documentation to ensure traceability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Analytical Chemistry with hands-on HPLC experience.
• Hands-on experience operating HPLC/UPLC systems and method development.
• Experience with writing reports and presenting results to stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Carry out work according to Stein HSE rules.
• Deliver the analytical workstream within service projects and meet deadlines.
• Plan own time to work efficiently across multiple projects.
• Develop new analytical methods and validate them as required.
• Plan complex, multifactorial experiments feasible in practice.
• Document and report findings in a professional manner.
