Six Senses Crans Montana is seeking a Housekeeping Porter to fully support housekeeping operations at a luxury resort in Crans Montana, Switzerland. You will assist with luggage handling, linen management, guest support, and turn-down services while upholding Six Senses service standards.

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent and at least 2 years’ experience in a similar hotel operational setting.
• Hospitality diploma/degree from a recognized hospitality school is preferred.
• Technical skills include MS Office – Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook; familiarity with POS, PMS and CRM systems.
• Good understanding of scheduling work and knowledge of cleaning procedures, chemicals and surfaces.
• EU passport or valid Swiss work authorization required.

Responsabilidades

• Collect guest luggage and belongings and assist with check-out logistics.
• Collect soiled linen and replace with processed linen as needed.
• Assist guests with special needs and requirements.
• Stock service wheel trolley with room supplies for shifts.
• Replace supplies in rooms (stationery, brochures, minibar information).
• Move and adjust furniture and fixtures as required for cleaning and repairs.
• Monitor par level of linen daily and collect required stock for shift.
• Provide turn down service and restock minibar according to standards.
• Ensure cleaning equipment is maintained and stored properly.
• Report equipment failure or missing items to Supervisor.

Job Description

Duties and Responsibilities

As Housekeeping Porter, I willassume full responsibility for theefficientoperation in the following:

• Responsible for collecting the guest's luggage and other belongings and bring them down to the Cave upon check out
• Responsible for collecting soiled linen and replacing areas with processed linen.
• Assist guests with special needs and requirements.
• Stock supply wheel trolley with required room supplies for shift.
• Replace supplies in the rooms such as stationary folder, guest supplies, compendium, hotel brochures and information regarding hotel services and facilities.
• Remove furniture, curtains and other fixtures, which require repair, replacement, spotting, waxing or cleaning.
• Ensure par level of linen is monitored daily
• Collect required stock supplies for shift
• Support Room Attendant if needed
• Ensure all supplies and cleaning equipment are in good working condition and stored in proper locations
• Ensure that guest requests for additional linen are delivered promptly
• Return any lost and found items to the Laundry Supervisor and complete required forms
• Report equipment failure, damage to furnishings or missing items to Supervisor
• Care for all details, the style and the overall appearance of all areas
• Apply, use and maintain equipment with very best care and is responsible for it
• Provide turn down service according to service standard, including re stock of minibar
• Upkeep Six Senses guidelines and standards of service and operation. My performance benchmarks are maintained and exceeded
• Strictly adhere to LQA standards and guest comments

Qualifications

To execute the position of Housekeeping Porter, I must have the required qualifications, technical skills and experience in a similar role in luxury hotels with proven results and includes the following:

• High school diploma or equivalent and at least 2 years’ experience in a similar hotel operational setting. Hospitality diploma/degreefrom a recognized hospitality school is preferred
• Technical skills include MS Office – Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook. I am also familiar with various hotel systems including POS, PMS and CRM platforms. I have good understanding of scheduling work, and knowledge of cleaning procedures, chemicals and surfaces
• EU passport or valid Swiss work authorization required
