Job summary

Zurich Instruments AG in Zürich is seeking a experienced Technical Buyer to ensure timely and reliable procurement of components for high-tech instrumentation. You will bridge Planning, Suppliers, Manufacturing and R&D to translate technical needs into sourcing strategies and keep production on track.

The ideal candidate has at least 10 years in procurement in a technical industry, strong ERP experience, and fluent German and English.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of procurement experience in a technical industry.
• Strong understanding of sourcing strategies and supplier management.
• Fluent written and spoken German and English.

Responsibilities

• Own operational purchasing including quotations, purchase orders and confirmations.
• Monitor schedule dates and report delays to prevent shortages.
• Act as first contact for procurement for production, R&D and other departments.
• Maintain optimal inventory levels and materials regularly.
• Contribute to process improvements and support NPD activities.
