Arabelle Solutions Switzerland seeks a Site Manager for Heat Exchanger outages, responsible for end-to-end outage preparation, execution, and close-out. You will lead large on-site teams, manage costs and productivity, and coordinate with customers and internal teams across Europe.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in science/engineering, a Certified Welding Specialist, 4+ years in power generation maintenance, and fluency in German with strong English. Travel up to 30% is expected.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in Science, Business, Engineering or related field; equivalent experience in power generation.
• Certified Welding Specialist qualification required.
• Minimum 4 years field service experience in power generation maintenance, including outage planning and execution.
• Fluent in German with good command of English, both written and spoken.
• Willingness to travel up to 30% of the time.
• Strong project management and organizational skills.
• Solid technical expertise in heat exchanger maintenance and repair.
• Strong quality assurance and quality control background.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, and web-based tools.
• Ability to communicate with stakeholders at all levels including customers and internal teams.
• Demonstrated leadership capabilities in dynamic, fast-paced, complex environments.

Aufgaben

• Manage outage event preparation from start to finish, including outage schedule development, labor/tooling/cost planning, and customer meetings.
• Create pre-approval documents and inspect installation materials, planning welder skill tests.
• Ensure proper execution documentation is prepared, reviewed, stored and delivered.
• Ensure welded structures are safe and compliant; select welding processes and define parameters.
• Own onsite execution with large teams during outages, manage on-job costs and productivity, and monitor execution risk.
• Drive improvement of vendor/sourcing cost, on-time delivery, and outage productivity; maintain tracking files.
• Lead project quotation development including work scope, site checks, and safety analysis.
• Coordinate with IT applications for labor, tooling, and vendor management planning.
• Respond to forced outages promptly and be on site when needed to restore units.
• Support technical and project communications to customer staff.
• Work to improve processes and look for simplification opportunities.
