The Chief of Strategic Prioritization and Practices Branch in Geneva leads reform of the humanitarian programme cycle and strengthens coordination across humanitarian actors.

The role sits within the Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA) Geneva, reporting to the branch director, and involves advancing the Global Humanitarian Overview and supporting humanitarian coordinators and country teams.

Responsabilidades

• Lead reform of the humanitarian programme cycle and strengthen humanitarian coordination in line with the Humanitarian Reset.
• Oversee training of OCHA personnel and documentation/sharing of best practices.
• Coordinate interagency negotiations and support humanitarian coordinators, HCSTs, and OCHA offices.
