METTLER TOLEDO AG in Nänikon-Greifensee is seeking a dynamic Head of Software Development for Laboratory Weighing (LabTec). You will lead a software team of about 30 professionals, shape strategy across embedded, Linux, PC and service software, and collaborate with Product, Hardware, and Quality.

The role emphasizes engineering excellence, scalable architectures, CI/CD, and certification support, with responsibility for AI-enabled tooling and cybersecurity initiatives to drive the next

Aufgaben

Lead and inspire high-performing software teams.
Build and develop a software organization of ~30 professionals.
Empower Team Leaders, Architects, and Engineers.
Foster collaboration, growth, and engineering excellence.
Guide critical software projects and transformations.
Define and execute software strategy across embedded, Linux, PC, and service software.
Drive scalable architectures, platforms, and processes.
Increase reuse, accelerate innovation, reduce complexity.
Support compliance and certification through smart design.
Own and evolve Linux/Debian platform for future products.
Advance CI/CD, test automation, and release processes.
Strengthen engineering excellence with modern tools.
Define and implement AI strategy for software development.
Establish best practices for AI-enabled tooling.
Drive cybersecurity initiatives and CRA compliance.
Collaborate across functions to influence roadmaps.
Partner with Product, Hardware, Service and Quality.
Manage external development partners and suppliers.
Represent software topics at leadership level.
