Zusammenfassung

Kanadevia Inova, based in Zürich, Switzerland, seeks a senior engineering leader to join the unit management team as deputy for related functional areas. You will define departmental strategy and lead a multidisciplinary engineering group to deliver complex projects.

You will drive project execution, tendering activities, and ensure on-time delivery within budget, while mentoring staff and ensuring HSE compliance in an international environment.

Qualifikationen

• Several years of engineering experience in plant engineering and project execution.
• Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to evaluate complex operational scenarios and make informed decisions.
• Extensive knowledge of engineering, manufacturing, assembly, commissioning, suppliers and market dynamics.
• Strong business and commercial acumen with high cost awareness across the value chain.
• Proficient in project management tools and MS Office.

Aufgaben

• Lead and manage a multidisciplinary engineering team.
• Define and implement departmental strategy and represent the engineering function externally.
• Support project execution and tendering activities while ensuring active participation of team members.
• Ensure timely delivery of engineering systems, components, and project deliverables within budget and quality standards.
• Monitor budgets, costs and resource allocation, taking corrective actions when required.
• Drive employee development through hiring, coaching, mentoring, training, and career planning.
• Ensure compliance with HSE requirements, business processes, standards and continuous improvement initiatives.
