Our client is an international biopharmaceutical company that operates with a lean and entrepreneurial structure, combining the agility of a start‑up with the global reach of an established group.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as a strategic business partner to the CEO, providing financial insight and decision support across all activities
• Collaborate closely with the CFO and Business Controller to drive planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes
• Deliver clear visibility on financial performance, resource allocation and investment returns
• Contribute to strategic discussions as part of the Executive Leadership Team, effectively representing Finance at the management table
• Lead, coordinate and oversee all financial operations for the Swiss entities, including accounting, controlling, and tax
• Ensure full compliance with Swiss legislation, statutory reporting standards, and local tax requirements
• Manage the month‑end, quarter‑end and year‑end closing process and ensure timely submission of consolidated reports
• Oversee relationships with external auditors, tax advisors, and financial institutions
• Manage treasury activities, including banking relationships, funding structures, and cash flow planning
• Support the implementation, maintenance and continuous improvement of ERP and financial systems
• Lead and develop local finance team in Switzerland (currently 1 direct report)
• Foster a proactive, hands‑on team culture that aligns with the company’s start‑up mindset and fast‑paced environment

Profile

• Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting or related field (CPA or similar is a plus)
• Minimum 10 years experience in Finance, with experience in both large companies and start‑up environments ideally
• Strong knowledge of Swiss legislation, accounting standards, and taxation
• Proven experience working in fast‑moving, high‑pressure organizations
• Excellent leadership, interpersonal and communication skills
• Hands‑on, dynamic, and solutions‑oriented with the willingness and ability to operate strategically and operationally
• Fluent in English, any other languages are a plus
• Hybrid working model with presence in the Zug office 3 days /week
