Julius Baer seeks a senior business delivery lead to drive core position management and portfolio analysis within the SAFe framework. You will guide a global team of Product Owners, BAs, and SMEs, aligning business priorities with technology and design while coordinating with senior stakeholders.

You will own the end-to-end stream roadmap, balance regulatory and time-to-value considerations, and ensure a superior client experience through accurate, reliable digital capabilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in related field as listed.
• 5–7 years in agile roles within wealth management with delivery lead experience.
• Understanding of portfolio analysis concepts and client insights.
• Strong SAFe and DevOps knowledge for large-scale delivery programmes.
• Experience leading distributed teams in a global environment.
• Excellent facilitation, conflict-resolution and communication skills.
• Fluent in English; other languages a plus.

We are seeking an experienced and motivated leader to drive the evolution of our Core Position Management and Portfolio Analysis (Temenos Triple A) and client reporting capability. This business capability serves as the single source of truth for client positions, performance reporting, and analytical insights across Julius Baer’s digital ecosystem - supporting both internal stakeholders and external clients.

In this key role, you will drive the product and delivery roadmap from a business perspective with a thorough understanding of underlying business processes to derive, sequence and execute milestones and objectives according to key priorities set. Your client centricity will set the guardrails for the team, guiding them to grow with the digital and mobile demands of our clients and ensuring their work translates into intuitive, impactful digital experiences. You will work in close collaboration with business units, IT leadership, Enterprise Architecture, and international stakeholders to ensure systematic delivery against the set roadmap. You will lead a team of Product Owners, Business Analysts, and Subject Matter Experts as a Business Stream Lead within the Portfolio and Position Management Agile Release Train (ART). Reporting into the Position and Portfolio Management lead within Digital Delivery, you will lead a cross-functional, global team responsible for driving innovation, scalability, and operational excellence across the platform.

YOUR CHALLENGE

Act as the senior business delivery lead for core position management within the ART, ensuring alignment between product, technology, design, data, risk, and business functions Define and align the stream’s strategic objectives within the digital delivery target landscape, ensuring the core banking strategy aligns with the future-state architecture picture Own and steer the stream’s roadmap end-to-end, balancing business priorities, regulatory requirements, technical feasibility, and time-to-value while aligning priorities with senior stakeholders Ensure a superior client experience by understanding client needs and maintaining an accurate, reliable, performant and stable capability framework Drive predictable, high-quality end-to-end delivery by providing clear decision-making, risk management, and escalation paths across governance boards Ensure transparent financial and progress reporting to the ART Lead, managing the stream's delivery budget and resource allocation effectively to maximise business value Represent the stream’s delivery roadmap at senior governance levels, proactively managing dependencies, risks, and cross-functional coordination Lead and coach a team of Product Owners, Business Analysts, and Subject Matter Experts within a Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) environment, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement

YOUR PROFILE

• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field
• Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in agile roles within wealth management, asset management, or investment operations, with at least 3 years as a delivery lead (Business Stream Lead, or equivalent) with personnel responsibility
• Profound understanding of portfolio analysis concepts it’s use in everyday interaction by Relationship Managers and Clients, including position & portfolio valuation, performance measurement, and transaction information to provide clients a comprehensive portfolio and position insights and details about their assets
• In-depth understanding of SAFe principles, DevOps practices, and managing end-to-end delivery for large-scale transformation programmes
• Experience managing distributed teams in a global, multicultural environment, including nearshore and offshore delivery models
• Strong facilitation and conflict-resolution skills, with the ability to coach teams, remove impediments at scale, and communicate effectively with business/project stakeholders across seniority levels as well as within the own delivery team
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment, influence without direct authority, and demonstrate a strong analytical mindset with excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Experience in driving the delivery of digital asset views and client reporting solutions within a private banking environment
• Fluent in English (written and spoken); additional languages are a plus
