Job summary

K. Lee Trading GmbH, a Zurich-based importer and distributor of Korean and Japanese foods and cosmetics, seeks a dedicated professional to lead the Buying & Category Management team. The role starts immediately or by agreement and involves managing a team of six across Supply Chain functions.

You will build supplier relationships, oversee international sourcing, negotiate terms, and ensure regulatory compliance. A hybrid work arrangement and employee discounts are offered.

Qualifications

• Excellent written and spoken English.
• Strong negotiation and contract-law awareness.
• Cross-cultural awareness and diplomacy in supplier relations.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement buying and category strategies.
• Coordinate with senior management on Sales & Marketing to manage product ranges.
• Identify, select and evaluate international suppliers (Korea/Japan focus).
• Negotiate prices, delivery terms and framework agreements; ensure quality and compliance.
• Lead a team of six; collaborate with Logistics, Sales, Marketing, and Quality & Data Management.
• Monitor KPIs, manage orders, import processes and supplier claims.
