Takeda in Zurich, Switzerland, seeks a Global Category Manager to develop and execute the Marketing & Sales Support category strategy across markets. You will partner with Commercial stakeholders, lead multi-year sourcing initiatives, manage supplier relationships, and drive value through innovative contracting and digital procurement tools.

The role requires 8+ years in category management, a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (MBA preferred), and fluency in English.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in supply chain, business, finance, or another relevant field.
• MBA or advanced degree preferred.
• 8+ years of experience in category management, strategic sourcing, procurement, or related function in complex global organizations.

Responsabilités

• Develop and evolve the global Marketing & Sales Support category strategy in alignment with enterprise priorities and long-term value creation goals.
• Lead cross-functional sourcing initiatives, supplier negotiations, and contract implementations across Marketing & Sales Support services.
• Partner with stakeholders early in the planning process to influence requirements and sourcing decisions before commitments are made.
• Monitor market developments and analytics to identify opportunities and improve category performance.
