Job summary

Flink Robotics, based in Zurich, is seeking a hands-on hardware engineer to design, assemble and manufacture new robot features including the gripper. You will integrate mechanics, electronics and sensors into a working system and test/validate hardware while helping the team improve it. A strong analytical mindset and practical project experience are essential.

The role is office-based in Zurich with a chance to work on cutting-edge robotics challenges and a competitive compensation package.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

Flink Robotics is a fast-paced startup, out of ETH Zurich's Computational Robotics Lab, building autonomous robots that can handle any item - including ones they've never seen before. We're revolutionising material handling, from stacking boxes to sorting parcels and unloading goods.

Who you are

What you bring

• A Bachelor's or Master's degree (completed or in progress) in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering or robotics
• First hands-on experience with physical hardware
• Analytical, technical and problem-solving skills that you can apply to real-world solutions
• Bonus: CAD experience and basic GD&T; prior robot builds or personal and academic projects (maker builds, competitions); electrical or PCB design experience; familiarity with Linux
