Zusammenfassung

Recrutis is supporting a Swiss biomanufacturing scale-up in Lake Geneva region (canton of Vaud) for a CAPEX & Engineering Lead on a permanent contract. The role covers end-to-end ownership of CAPEX projects in non-GMP industrial fermentation / food-grade production with multi-million CHF scope and mobility between sites in Vaud and Bern.

English is mandatory; German is a strong asset. Start as soon as possible in a hands-on, end-to-end engineering leadership position within this high-autonomy

Qualifikationen

• Around 10 years in bioprocess or fermentation engineering with hands-on plant design, scale-up and commissioning.
• Deep understanding of fermentation processes and related equipment selection.
• Full project lifecycle experience (FEL-based) and familiarity with EPCM delivery models.
• English at a professional working level is mandatory; mobility between regions is expected.

Aufgaben

• Own CAPEX projects end-to-end from FEL to EPCM and commissioning.
• Take hands-on technical ownership of engineering decisions from process to equipment.
• Manage building permits, external partners, EPCM contractors, and internal teams.
• Drive process optimization and plant expansion while controlling budget and timelines.
