Job summary

MCI group in Geneva seeks a Group Legal Counsel & Contract Manager to provide practical legal support across the group, strengthen contract management and advise on governance.

You'll draft, negotiate, and review commercial contracts, implement CLM, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, while coordinating with internal stakeholders.

This role requires a law degree, 4–5 years of experience, fluency in English and French, and a proactive, international mindset.

Qualifications

• Law degree required; additional certification is an asset.
• 4–5 years of proven experience in a legal department.
• Experience in an international environment is preferred.
• Ability to communicate clearly with diverse stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Contracting and drafting commercial contracts and intragroup agreements.
• Implement SOPs around contracting, contract management, and contract compliance.
• Provide legal advice and guidance on governance, disclosure requirements, and listing rules.
• Monitor regulatory changes and maintain permanent files; handle KYC requests.
• Coordinate updates of authorized signatories and lead the CLM tool rollout.
• Review main client and supplier contracts and negotiate with third parties.

Group Legal Counsel & Contract Manager

The Group Legal Counsel & Contract Manager provides practical legal and contracting support across mci group, strengthening contract management, advising internal stakeholders, supporting corporate governance and insurance matters, and helping ensure compliance with applicable legal and regulatory requirements through collaborative and commercially focused solutions.

What you’ll do

• Contracting
• Implement strong SOPs around contracting, contract management, and contract compliance
• Draft, negotiate, review, and advice on commercial contracts and other legally driven corporate intragroup agreements
• Support training and skills-building of mci group staff around legal contracting requirements.
• Legal advice
• Advise on compliance with financial and non-financial disclosure requirements, listing rules, and corporate governance standards
• Clarify legal language and specifications for organization-wide understanding
• Monitor legal and regulatory changes
• Corporate governance
• Maintain mci group entities’ permanent files up to date
• Handle KYC requests
• Coordinate updates of authorized signatories

• Build expertise in insurance-related legal matters
• Act as a reliable liaison between operations, insurance brokers and the group legal function

What we’re looking for

• Degree in Law, additional certification is an asset
• 4/5 years of proven experience in a legal department.
• Fluent in English and French; additional languages are an asset.
