Two.jobs GmbH in Winterthur is seeking a Head of Residential Group (90%) for the Rosental Retirement Center to lead the geriatric care team and oversee daily operations. The role requires HF/FH nursing leadership training, several years in geriatric psychiatry, strong IT and communication skills, and a commitment to autonomy, change processes, and high-quality resident care.

Head of Residential Group (90%), Rosental Retirement Center

The area of aging and care in the city of Winterthur offers a diverse range of services for the population of Winterthur in its five retirement centers and through Spitex.

For our long-term care at the Rosental Retirement Center, which provides a well-maintained home for 107 residents, we are looking for an engaged, communicative, and experienced leader starting January 1, 2027, or by agreement for the geriatric psychiatric residential group.

Your Responsibilities

• Operational management and independent organization of the residential group
• Ensuring professional care and support for the residents
• Responsibility for the personnel and professional leadership of the care and support team
• Interdisciplinary collaboration, including with the medical service, therapies, nursing expert, customer consulting, and hospitality
• Responsibility for the RAI classification
• Ensuring compliance with legal requirements and internal guidelines

Your Profile

• Training as a nursing specialist HF/FH with management further education or willingness to pursue it
• Several years of professional experience in the geriatric psychiatric field, leadership experience is an advantage
• Willingness to participate in direct care and support
• Very good IT skills (MS Office, RAI, and PEP knowledge is an advantage) as well as fluent German
• High social competence and communication skills with a strong sense of commitment
• Great independence, openness to change processes
• Quick comprehension, networked thinking with analytical skills
