Job summary

Infront in Zug, Switzerland, is seeking a Group Finance Controller (m/f/d) 80–100% to manage monthly forecasting, consolidation, IFRS accounting and reporting for the Group, working closely with international colleagues. The role requires 3–5 years in Group Finance, a finance degree or CPA/ACCA, strong forecasting, IFRS expertise and excellent IT skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

A collaborative, detail‑oriented mindset and fluency in English and German are essential.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in Group Finance, controlling and accounting
• University degree or Bachelor in Finance/Business Administration, or Swiss CPA/ACCA qualification
• Strong forecasting and budgeting capabilities
• Robust IFRS knowledge and consolidation expertise
• Solid IT skills with Excel, Word and PowerPoint, plus consolidation tools
• Analytical, solution‑oriented, with attention to detail
• Team player able to adapt to changing priorities
• Fluent in English and German; interest in sports business

Responsibilities

• Manage monthly forecasting, consolidation, IFRS accounting and reporting for the Group
• Oversee monthly reporting of Group companies, including cash flow
• Act as primary contact for accounting and controlling matters
• Support Group consolidation in HFM and closing processes
• Prepare monthly, half-year and year-end statements and quarterly reports to stakeholders
• Contribute to strategic planning and implement new accounting standards
• Collaborate with Treasury and Tax teams

Who We Are Looking For

We are looking for a motivated and analytical professional to join our Group Finance team as a Group Finance Controller (m/f/d) 80–100%. In this role, you will contribute to the Group’s financial planning, reporting, accounting and consolidation processes, working closely with international colleagues and Group companies to ensure financial transparency and support informed business decisions.

Your main tasks

• Managing the Group’s monthly forecasting, consolidation, IFRS accounting and reporting processes, ensuring timely and accurate financial information
• Overseeing the monthly financial reporting of assigned Group companies, including actuals, forecasts and direct and indirect cash flow
• Acting as the primary point of contact for assigned Group companies on all accounting, financial and controlling matters
• Contributing to the Group’s strategic planning process and independently managing the financial planning and reporting activities of assigned Group companies and businesses
• Supporting the Group consolidation process in HFM, including closing checklists, reporting best practices and closing instructions
• Supporting the preparation of the Group’s monthly reports, half-year and year-end financial statements, as well as quarterly reporting to shareholders and other stakeholders
• Contributing to Group-wide projects, including the integration of new Group companies, mergers, software implementations and upgrades, due diligence processes and the implementation of new accounting standards
• Supporting treasury controlling activities, including external financing forecasts and financial instruments, as well as treasury planning and reporting
• Maintaining close collaboration with the Group Treasury and Group Tax teams
• Driving and supporting initiatives to improve reporting quality, transparency, process efficiency and overall financial governance

Your profile

• You have 3–5 years of experience in Group Finance, covering controlling and accounting, ideally in an international environment
• You hold a university degree or a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with a specialisation in Finance, or an equivalent professional qualification such as a Swiss Federal Diploma of Finance, Accounting, Controlling, or a CPA/ACCA qualification
• You have strong hands‑on experience in controlling, particularly in forecasting and budgeting
• You have strong knowledge of IFRS, as well as solid accounting and consolidation expertise
• You have strong IT skills, particularly in Excel, Word, PowerPoint and financial consolidation tools
• You are analytical and solution‑oriented, with the ability to assess complex financial information, tackle new challenges and develop practical solutions
• You are a team player who remains calm under pressure and adapts effectively to changing priorities and environments
• You work accurately and with a high level of attention to detail, while maintaining a clear overview of the bigger picture
• You are interested in the sports business and bring a strong commitment to quality, excellence in delivery and a client‑first mindset, both towards internal and external stakeholders
• You are fluent in both English and German, with strong written and verbal communication skills in both languages
