Zusammenfassung

IMC Trading is seeking a Graduate Software Engineer to join the core engineering team and contribute to a proprietary low-latency trading system. You will acquire market data, implement ETL processes, and collaborate with traders and researchers to improve trading results.

Your core responsibilities include building scalable data pipelines, working with batch and real-time streaming systems, and delivering high-performance data solutions across exchanges and venues.

Qualifikationen

• Master or bachelor degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, or another related technical field.
• Strong programming skills in Python and at least one statically typed language (e.g., Java, Scala, Go, C++, or Rust).
• Experience with Python data analysis tools such as Jupyter Notebook, Pandas, NumPy, or modern distributed DataFrame frameworks.
• Solid CS fundamentals: algorithms, data structures, concurrency/parallelism, networking, software architecture, clean code.
• Performance-oriented mindset; interest in scalable distributed systems, latency, throughput, memory efficiency, serialization, backpressure, fault tolerance, and state management.
• Exposure to data engineering and data lake tech like Spark, Flink, Iceberg, ClickHouse, Kafka, Airflow, Dagster; Kubernetes, Docker, CI/CD, GitOps, observability is a plus.
• Excellent written and spoken English; collaboration in international team.
• Passionate about designing, developing, testing, deploying, maintaining and improving software.

Aufgaben

• Design, develop, maintain, and improve the in-house data infrastructure powering market and trading data platforms, including batch and real-time streaming pipelines.
• Build and extend scalable data pipelines to support more exchanges and new business domains.
• Collaborate with software engineers, researchers, and traders to deliver reliable, high-performance data solutions.
• Contribute across the software development lifecycle: design, implementation, testing, deployment, monitoring, improvement.
• Improve performance, reliability, scalability, and observability of distributed data processing systems.
