Job summary

The University of Lausanne invites applications for a Graduate Assistant in Statistics within the Department of Operations, Faculty of Business and Economics. The position focuses on causal inference for public health surveillance and pharmacovigilance, with cotutelle supervision between UNIL and the University of Padua.

Starting 1 March 2027, 100% FTE, 1 year renewable up to five years, with a gross salary of 67,568 CHF per year.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in statistics or related field with solid grounding in statistics
• Previous research experience in statistics or health data would be an asset
• Excellent command of English and good command of French at appointment time

Responsibilities

• Complete a PhD thesis (50% of time)
• Teach at Bachelor’s and Master’s levels and supervise student projects
