Expected start date in position : September 1, 2027 or to be agreed
Contract length : 1 year, renewable 2 x 2 years, maximum 5 years
Activity rate : 80 %
Workplace : Lausanne Dorigny, Extranef building

Your responsibilities

• 50% of the time will be dedicated to completion of doctoral studies in actuarial science.
• 50% of the assistant's time will be dedicated to teaching, administrative (including exam supervision), technical and research support for the department.
• Master of Science (MSc) in Actuarial Science or equivalent.
• Strong desire to write a theoretical thesis in actuarial science based on extreme value theory or random processes.
• Fluent in English, French an asset
• Ability to work in a team and good communication skills.
