Job summary

Estée Lauder Companies in Lachen, Switzerland, seeks a Manufacturing Operations Manager to lead Filling, Assembly and Compounding, directing 80–100 employees to meet safety, quality, service and cost targets. You will drive Lean TPM and OpEx initiatives while aligning with the global manufacturing model and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• A bachelor’s degree in engineering, Business, or higher.
• Minimum of 5+ years in manufacturing leadership, ideally in GMP-regulated industries.
• Fluent in German and English.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
• Proven budget management and strategic planning capabilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Power BI, and relevant industry software.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and organizational abilities

Responsibilities

• Lead daily operations across Filling, Assembly and Compounding.
• Ensure GMP, safety, and quality standards.
• Develop and execute annual plans and budgets aligned with business goals.
• Roadmap & Target Achievement: translate strategy into actionable steps.
• Drive continuous improvement using Lean, TPM, and OpEx principles.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Planning, QA, HR, Finance, and Logistics.
• Coach and develop your team; SOP leadership and OMP ownership.
• Apply problem-solving to address deviations and maintenance needs.
• Lead change in transformation projects and share best practices.
• Support new product launches and uphold Estée Lauder values.
