Job summary

Lonza Group is seeking a Vice President, Supply Chain, Integrated Biologics to lead the end-to-end Supply Chain organization across its Integrated Biologics platform. This senior role reports to the top of the function, shaping strategy, network design and performance metrics.

The role combines strategic leadership with operational execution to ensure reliable customer delivery, inventory health and readiness for growth initiatives across global sites.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Supply Chain, Engineering or related discipline; MBA preferred.
• Extensive senior leadership experience across end-to-end Supply Chain in a global manufacturing environment, ideally pharma/biopharma/CDMO.
• Broad Supply Chain expertise spanning demand and supply planning, S&OP, production planning, inventory, logistics, warehousing and network planning.
• Proven ability to lead across multiple manufacturing sites and international networks, driving large-scale transformation and digitalization.
• Strong financial and commercial acumen with ability to balance service, capacity, inventory and cost.
• Fluent English; APICS/Lean Six Sigma qualifications are an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute the Integrated Biologics Supply Chain strategy across the global network.
• Lead end-to-end Supply Chain organization across site and global functions, building a high-performing leadership team.
• Ensure reliable customer delivery through integrated demand and supply planning, S&OP/S&OE, production planning, logistics and inventory management.
• Lead network, capacity and inventory strategy balancing service, resilience, working capital and risk for growth programs.
• Drive Supply Chain transformation through standardization, digital enablement, automation and data transparency.
• Partner with Operations, Quality, Commercial, Finance and Procurement to manage risks and ensure GMP/GDP/Quality/EHS compliance.
