Hitachi ABB Power Grids is seeking a Tender and Quotation Specialist to turn customer needs into competitive bids from our MICAFIL bushing factory in Switzerland. You will work with sales, engineering, and legal teams to craft detailed proposals and ensure timely submissions.

The role requires 3+ years in tendering or bid coordination, strong communication, and fluency in English, with German a plus. Join a global team delivering high-voltage transformer bushings and complex quotations.

Qualifikationen

• Technical or commercial education background.
• Minimum 3 years of admin/business experience in tendering, quotation prep, price calculation, bid coordination or project management in industrial/technical env.
• Proven experience in formulating accurate bids and quotations.
• Strong understanding of tender processes, contractual terms and commercial aspects.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency with MS Office and tender management software/CRM.
• Fluency in English; German and other languages are a plus.

Aufgaben

• Analyze RFQs and tender documents to understand requirements and scope with Sales alignment.
• Collaborate with sales, engineering, legal and internal teams for information and cost estimates.
• Develop comprehensive tender and quotation documents, including technical proposals and commercial offers.
• Ensure submissions are accurate, complete and meet deadlines.
• May participate in pre-bid meetings, clarifications and negotiations.
• Maintain records of tender activities and outcomes for handover.
• Improve tender processes and templates for efficiency and quality.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders for optimal solutions and clear communication with customers.
