Takeda Pharmaceutical Co. in Zurich is seeking a Tax Lead for the Global Tax group. You will advise and manage the group’s tax position across Europe and Canada, lead tax audits, and support local finance with changes in tax legislation.

The role requires strong tax technical expertise, broad regional knowledge, and the ability to coordinate with Takeda Business Solutions Hub and external service providers to balance local and global considerations.

Qualifikationen

• University degree in accounting/finance/law (Tax specialization preferred).
• At least 3 years of tax experience in pharma or Big 4.
• Strong knowledge of regional tax laws and income tax accounting.
• Multilingual with English plus another European language.

Aufgaben

• Establish and maintain network to business within the countries in scope; analyze tax implications for transactions and provide high-quality tax support.
• Ensure professional communication with tax authorities at all times.
• Coordinate corporate income tax compliance and audit defence with local providers and Takeda teams.
• Proactively identify, manage and mitigate tax risks.
• Lead tax audits and align data requests with global tax leads on defense strategy.
• Monitor indirect taxes, withholding taxes and other taxes.
• Track legislative changes with material business impact.
• Coordinate transfer pricing documentation with the team.
• Review contracts and business initiatives from a tax perspective.
