Takeda Pharmaceuticals International AG in Zürich is seeking a Tax Lead to manage the global tax position for Europe and Canada. You will lead audits, support tax compliance, and partner with finance and business teams to minimize tax risk.
The role requires a university degree in accounting/finance or law with tax specialization and at least 3 years in tax within pharma or Big 4. Multilingual candidates are preferred and international collaboration is key.
Join our team as the Tax Lead in the Global Tax group. This role will be critical in advising and managing the Takeda’s tax position in a selected group of countries in Europe and Canada region.
General responsibilities include but are not limited to pro-actively managing the tax audits with the relevant tax authorities in this region on a federal, regional and local level, supervising and ensuring that all tax matters are being properly handled for including but not limited to tax accounting, tax compliance, tax litigation and transfer pricing, providing advice and support to local finance and helping actively educate business partners on relevant changes in tax legislation with material impact on the business. Serving as a trusted partner to the business, this individual will play a key bridge function between the global tax functional leads and finance Takeda Business Solutions Hub in the region with the ability to reduce complexity and balance local vs. global considerations.

Base Salary Range: CHF141,100.00 - CHF194,040.00 The estimated salary range reflects an anticipated range for this position.
