Organon is seeking a Global Supply Planning Specialist to drive integrated planning for API, bulk, and finished goods across a multi-node network. This role partners with Site Planners, Product Leads, and Demand teams to ensure uninterrupted product availability and optimal inventory management.
The ideal candidate has 2+ years in manufacturing or supply chain, strong analytical skills, and experience with SAP S4/Hana and BI tools.
The Global Supply Planning Specialist reports to the Global Supply Planning Franchise Lead or Global Supply Manager and serves as the primary Integrated Supply Planning contact for an assigned portfolio consisting of product families and/or external supply chain nodes.
In this role, the incumbent is responsible for the operational planning and execution of API, bulk, semi-finished goods, and finished goods supply to ensure uninterrupted product availability for customers and patients. Leveraging the IBP governance framework, the specialist understands volume requirements and supply constraints across internal and external manufacturing sites within the assigned portfolio. Working closely with stakeholders such as Site Planners, Focus Factory Leads, and Demand Fulfillment teams, he/she proactively identifies, mitigates, and resolves actual and potential supply issues across a planning horizon of up to 36 months.
The position also partners closely with Product Leads and Value Chain Managers to support strategic initiatives, including new product launches, network transfers, and portfolio optimization projects. As a member of the Global Supply Management organization, the incumbent contributes to the achievement and continuous improvement of key supply chain performance metrics.
Operating in a complex global environment, the specialist applies sound planning expertise and business judgment to daily activities and decision-making. He/she works both independently and collaboratively, actively contributing to the development and effectiveness of the planning organization.
