ETEL is a world leader in motion control. We seek an organized, proactive engineer to lead product qualification in sourcing and to coordinate with suppliers on feasibility and quality.

You will define purchase specs, manage supplier norms, and ensure production continuity while collaborating across functions in a dynamic, international environment. Ideal candidates hold a degree in mechanical engineering, 3+ years in similar roles, fluent English, and strong negotiation skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelors or Masters in mechanical or industrial engineering.
• At least three years' experience in similar positions.
• Knowledge of production technologies (e.g., precision machinery, stamping) and metrology.
• Fluent written and spoken English.
• Excellent negotiation and interpersonal skills.
• Good and reliable communicator both verbally and in writing.
• Cross-functional / cultural team player.
• Passion for driving continuous improvements.

Responsibilities

• Lead the product qualification phase in the sourcing process.
• Discuss, clarify, and achieve technical feasibility with suppliers.
• Support Detail Design Review highlighting technical and process difficulties.
• Release product control plan and define internal and supplier control levels.
• Define and release purchasing specifications.
• Deal with supplier norm requirements (RoHS, REACH, TSCA).
• Ensure production continuity daily for purchased components and supplier quality concerns.
• Collaborate with other departments to track milestones and drive projects.
