Job summary

avec compétence GmbH is seeking a senior professional to lead and scale digital manufacturing and automation across a global food-manufacturing network. You will drive standardization of MES/OT, collaborate with factories and tech suppliers, and guide investment projects from design to validation.

Ideal candidates have a Master’s in Engineering, hands-on experience with Rockwell/Wonderware/AVEVA, process simulation, and a track record in dairy manufacturing contexts.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Engineering or equivalent.
• Experience in digital manufacturing, AI and robotics, MES and automation.
• Knowledge of Rockwell, Wonderware or AVEVA platforms.
• Experience with process simulation tools.
• Experience in engineering projects, commissioning and continuous improvement in manufacturing (ideally dairy).
• Full professional proficiency in English; willingness to travel internationally up to 30%.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and global deployment of digital manufacturing and automation solutions.
• Drive standardization and improvement of MES and OT.
• Build partnerships with factories, project teams and technology suppliers.
• Provide expert guidance for investment projects from design to validation and handover.
• Enable secure and reliable manufacturing data through data integration initiatives.
• Coach teams and share best practices in digital and automation capabilities.
