Job summary

METTLER TOLEDO AutoChem Inc. is seeking a senior R&D leader to define and execute the global strategy for the Automated Chemistry business unit.

You will drive hardware and software innovations and lead a global team across locations to deliver cutting-edge laboratory automation solutions. You will champion engineering excellence, align roadmaps with business aims, and partner with Product Management, Quality, Operations, and external partners to maximize impact and value.

Qualifications

Master's degree or equivalent qualification; PhD is an advantage.
10+ years of progressive leadership experience in R&D, engineering or related disciplines.
Proven experience leading global multidisciplinary development organizations.

Responsibilities

Define and execute the global R&D strategy and technology roadmap across hardware and software.
Lead a global R&D organization across hardware, software, systems engineering, and project management.
Drive development of innovative hardware and software solutions to strengthen market position and growth.
Champion innovation and engineering excellence while evaluating emerging technologies and trends.
Ensure effective execution of global product development programs with robust lifecycle processes.
