METTLER TOLEDO is seeking a Test & Measurement Engineer (100%) for our global HQ in Greifensee. You will own measurement performance of LabTec products, refine design requirements, and automate tests for verification of product and regulatory standards.

The role requires a degree in engineering or physics, experience in industrial R&D, and strong German and English communication. We offer a hybrid work model, flexible hours, and extensive training opportunities.

Qualifikationen

• Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, Physics, or comparable field (Bachelor’s/Master’s or higher).
• Initial to several years in development in a high-tech industrial environment is desirable.
• Solid knowledge of physical measurement and control technology and product verification.
• Experience with object-oriented programming (Python/C++) and analysis/simulation tools.
• FEM/FEA knowledge is desirable; circuit simulation experience is a plus.
• Experience with ALM and ERP systems is a plus.
• Strong communication skills in German and English; German mandatory; English project language.

Aufgaben

• Take technical ownership of the measurement performance of LabTec products.
• Review, refine, and further develop product and design requirements.
• Measure, analyze, and optimize measurement and weighing performance.
• Further develop and sustain the measurement infrastructure, especially for automated measurements.
• Lead and contribute to cross-functional feasibility studies and innovation projects.
• Design, execute, and automate tests for verification of product and regulatory requirements.
• Act as primary contact for measurement topics from field, customers, and production.
• Analyze quality issues and propose improvements; contribute to product evolution.
• Establish collaborations with universities and research institutes.
