Job summary

Abbott in Basel is seeking an EPD Product Flows Expert to govern the global product flow framework, ensuring financial, tax, customs, trade compliance, and supply chain requirements are reflected in efficient, compliant physical and financial flows.

You will lead cross-functional supply chain projects, coordinate new product introductions and biosimilars, maintain governance and master data, and provide guidance on network changes to optimize costs, service, and compliance across the EPD network.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Operations Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 5-10 years of experience in pharmaceutical supply chain, distribution, transportation, and logistics operations.
• Experience in customs and trade compliance within a regulated pharmaceutical environment.
• Strong understanding of pharmaceutical supply chain processes, business operations, and end-to-end supply chain functions.
• Proven project management experience leading complex cross-functional initiatives.
• Experience with ERP and supply chain systems, including SAP ECC, SAP APO, TrackWise, Planisware, and DARIUS.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Visio, and Power BI.

Responsibilities

• Govern EPD's global product flow framework, ensuring compliance across financial, tax, customs, and trade requirements.
• Serve as SME for product flow design and supply chain network considerations.
• Coordinate evaluation, approval, and communication of new product flows across global and local stakeholders.
• Maintain and improve product flow governance, databases, and master data.
• Lead cross-functional supply chain projects related to product flow optimization and network changes.
• Provide guidance and training on product flow models and implementation requirements.
