Job summary

Roche in Basel, Switzerland seeks a Global Safety Expert – Process Safety to lead and continuously improve Roche’s global process safety program. You will own and enhance safety directives, guidelines, and tooling within the SHE Management System, coordinating across sites and partners.

The role requires an advanced degree in a technical discipline and strong English communication, with the ability to influence leaders and teams within a multinational organization.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in process safety and operational safety.
• Proven experience developing and implementing process safety programs at major technical sites or corporate level.
• Strong stakeholder management, influencing, coaching, and communication in a global matrix environment.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and continuously improve Roche's global process safety program.
• Serve as Global Product Owner for Process Safety, setting priorities across Roche.
• Provide expert guidance on process safety, facility safety, hazardous substances and energies, and fire/explosion risks.
